Jana Kapelová (1982, Trnava) is a visual artist, educator, curator and cultural activist. Her work explores themes such as labour and precarity, leisure and self-realisation, and the influence of social and cultural environments, upbringing, and education on individuals and society. She primarily works with media such as video, installation, text, participatory art and delegated performance in her artistic practice. She mainly uses the formats of authorial research and interviews.
