Luca Szabados (1989) is a scenographer who graduated from the Hungarian University of Fine Arts in 2011. Since completing her degree, she has worked as a freelance costume and set designer for numerous theatre productions across Hungary – including the Örkény István Theater and Radnóti Miklós Theater in Budapest – as well as internationally at venues such as Schauspiel Köln, Staatstheater Nürnberg, Dailes Teatris in Riga and Göteborg Stadsteater. She has been a core member of the Budapest-based performance collective Pneuma Szöv. since 2008, contributing as a visual designer, performer and co-creator. In addition to her theatrical work, she occasionally collaborates with NGOs as a graphic designer. Her practice is rooted in collaborative, interdisciplinary and socially engaged art-making. [1]
