The Galženica Gallery is a non-profitable gallery that functionswithin the wide range of activities of the Lifelong Learning Center in Velika Gorica. It was founded in 1980 and has followed, promoted and produced contemporary art ever since: at first as one of Zagreb's contemporary art galleries until the town of Velika Gorica became independent of Zagreb.
The art historian Radovan Vuković ran the Gallery from 1980 to 2001, when he was succeeded by Klaudio Štefančić.
