3/4 magazine was established in 1999 in Bratislava with the intention to map regularly the sphere of contemporary non-mainstream literature, visual and performing arts, music, film, alternative theatre, etc., especially artists and events in the Central and Eastern Europe. Starting as a bimonthly, since 2001 it has been published as a quarterly and its content focuses more on the arts and technology.
