Adéla Komrzý (1992, Prague) is a filmmaker based in Prague. She studied Art History at Charles University, Prague, and documentary directing at FAMU, Prague. In 2018 she was selected to participate at Berlinale Talents and did an internship in directing at Filmuniversitaet Babelsberg Konrad Wolf, Berlin. She participated at IDFAcademy Summer School 2019. As a production assistant, she worked on TV miniseries Burning Bush (dir. Agnieszka Holland, 2013). Her film Teaching War about the militarisation of Czech society was awarded and featured at international film festivals (IDFF Ji.hlava, One World, DocLisboa, ZagrebDox, goEast, etc.). Her film Viva video, video viva (2019) focuses on Czech pioneers of video art such as Radek Pilař, Petr Skala and the Vasulkas. (2019)
