b. 1954) is probably one of the best-known computer composers in the USSR. A programmer by education, Rodionov is an outstanding theorist of computer music. He lives in Moscow and works only with the computer. Rodionov is the first Soviet computer composer to have recorded his compositions on a phonograph record. With the help of the computer, he is able to recreate any musical style from Vivaldi to rock. He also examined the synthesis of sound and color, and computer drawing.
