Barbora Námerová (1985, Bratislava) is a screenwriter and dramaturge based in Prague. She graduated in screenwriting and story editing from the Film and TV School of Academy of Performing Arts in Prague (FAMU). Her debut feature film Filthy (Špína, 2017), directed by Tereza Nvotová, was premiered at the Rotterdam International Film Festival, section Bright Future, and was nominated for Czech Film and Television Academy's Czech Lion Awards [1]. Filthy attended more than 30 festivals around the globe and has won over 20 prizes. Currently she is working on a thriller with the theme of magic and witchcraft set in contemporary Slovakia, entitled The Night Siren (Světlonoc).
