Aka 6dozen. Born 1965. He has studied education in the Buenos Aires University and privately studied saxophone. In 1989 immigrated to Israel and studied music in Rimon music school and multimedia programming in Atid Academy. Since 1993 he lives in Tel Aviv. He was a member of the experimental rock band ‘The Unnecessary Revolution’ where he played saxophone, clarinet, original wind instruments, samplers and computer. In the last years he produces and composes music in many dance and video productions. He collaborates with choreographers such as Ilanit Tadmor, Ruby Edelman and Aviv Eveguy among others. Together with Eran Zachs he had curated the series called ‘Ex-Central Station’ in Tel Aviv that concentrated in experimental music and video art giving emphasis to new technologies. His current works deal with different combinations of electroacoustic assemblies, where acoustic instruments meet computers and real time sound processing. The work focuses on the interaction between random and performance tools in search of new approaches to sound and music improvisation. Member of Babel, form duo.
