Electrohype is a nonprofit organization promoting and advocating computer based and technological art in Sweden and the other Nordic countries. At the present time this art genre lacks its own established forum in geographical region. Electrohype's main objective is establish the basis for growth and a supportive environment this art form in Scandinavia. (2020)

The organisation was founded in 1999 and is based in Malmö.

Between 2000-2010 it organised a Nordic biennial for computer based and high technological art.

  • Electrohype 2006: The forth biennial for computer based and technological art, 9 Dec 2006-7 Jan 2007. [4]
  • Electrohype 2008: The fifth biennial for computer based and technological art, 15 Nov 2008-25 Jan 2009. [5]
  • Electrohype 2010: Sixth biennial for electronic art, 27 Nov-30 Jan 2010. Exhibition curated by Anna Kindvall and Lars Gustav Midbøe.
