Professor at University of Caen, where he teaches internet technologies and cyberculture. He is in delegation at ISCC (Institute for Science of Communication at the CNRS). He used to be a librarian for ten years. Founded BIBLIO-FR, a discussion list of professionnals in library and information science. The list closed on june 2009, when there was 17,000 users. Hervé Le Crosnier is editor and publisher with C&F éditions (http://cfeditions.com).
