Jørgen Larsson (1972) is a musician, sound artist and curator from [[Bergen]]. He is an MFA from The Art Academy in Trondhjem, Norway since 2004. He has received classical piano training from The Grieg Academy, under Einar Røttingen and Knut Albrigt Andersen. In 2000 he founded [[BEK|Bergen Center for Electronic Art]] (BEK) together with [[Gisle Frøysland]]. Jørgen Larsson (1972) is educated as pianist and sound artist. His works has been shown in galleries in Norway and internationally. Beside of his art practice, he has started and led two pioneering institutions in Bergen, BEK (2000) and Lydgalleriet (2007). Through Lydgalleriet he organized more than 40 exhibitions. A technological autodidact, he assists artists and institutions with development of software and hardware. He composes music for dance performances and films, and improvises regularly for silent movies. In 2018 his handbook about sound production in exhibition spaces was published. (2019)
