Jeremy Welsh is an artist and professor of Fine Art at Faculty of Architecture and Fine Art at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU), Trondheim.

Jeremy Welsh has been active as a visual artist internationally since 1982, working with video, photography, installation, sound and performance. He is represented in several national and international museum collections and university art collections, including The National Museum (Oslo) Trondheim Kunstmuseum, The Norwegian Arts Council, MacQuarie University Art Collection (Sydney).

He was Professor and Dean of Dept. of Art at Bergen Academy of Art & Design. Earlier he was Director of Film & Video Umbrella (London) and exhibitions & projects co-ordinator at London Video Arts.

Other professional roles include: Leader of Art & Technology committee at The Norwegian Arts Council (2001 - 2005); Member of the Visual Arts committee at The Norwegian Arts Council (2001 - 2005); Leader of the Visual Arts Purchasing Committee at The Norwegian Arts Council (2006 - 2007); Board leader at BEK (Bergen Center for Electronic Arts (2001 - 2003) Board member of TEKS (Trondheim center for Electronic Arts (2010-2012) Currently board member Atelier Nord (Oslo); Borealis Festival for Experimental Music (Bergen) and Trøndelag Senter for Samtidskunst (Trondheim).
