The meaning of landscape architecture has changed. It is in change and will go on changing and developing. Transforming and attaching to the fields and needs of the environmental requests. Landscape is for people. It is a planning and learning discipline, where operators have to deal with all and every possible issues which will be involved in the work. Also the unforeseeable. It is giving by the space one deals with. The outside space, referring to natural processes. The birth and the dead. Grow and fall. Seasons. Climate. Amplitude. The angle. The place in space. Meters above sea level.

With what kind of space are we dealing with, when we are talking about space?

There is a simple 2D space. Visible from above. It describes the space you are working with, when you are drawing a ground plan. Your tools are lines, geometric forms, areas, textures, structures, colours, text, numbers, measures, special characters and many more.
