Maja Smrekar

Maja Smrekar develops projects in the field of bioart in collaboration with Kapelica Gallery and Aksioma Institute. In 2010 she organised International Festival HAIP10/New Nature at the Multimedia Centre Cyberpipe in Ljubljana where she has been active as an artistic director for two years. She was awarded at the CYNETART festival 2012 by the European Centre for Arts Hellerau – Dresden the first prize for her project Hu.M.C.C. She is currently finishing a New Media MA degree at Fine Art Academy in Ljubljana.
