Born 1972 in Bratislava. 1983 – 1986 personal studies of playing the flute (of Vladislav Brunner older). 1986 – 1992 Conservatory in Bratislava (playing the flute – Dagmar Zsapková), at the same time personal studies of composition (Ladislav Burlas and Ilja Zeljenka). 1990 – 1991 scholarship programmes in the Künstlerhaus Boswil Foundation in Switzerland. 1990 – 1995 Academy of Music and Drama in Bratislava (composition – Ilja Zeljenka), at the same time personal studies of electroacoustic music at Juraj Ďuriš‘s in the Experimental Studio of the Slovak Radio. Since 1991 he has worked with VENI ensemble and TULEŇ ensemble. 1993 a scholarship programme at the Nottingham Trent University in Great Britain (K. Jones). 1994 a co-founder of Vapori del Cuore ensemble. 1994 a co-founder of the Middle-Class Chamber Orchestra Požoň sentimentál. 1994 – 1998 the ISCM Vice-President – Slovak Section. 1995 a member of the programming board at Evenings of New Music festival. 1996 a doctoral student of composition at the Academy of Music and Drama in Bratislava (Vladimír Bokes). 1996 a scholarship programme at the Akademie für Neue Musik (B. Schaeffer, M. Choloniewski). Lives in Bratislava.
