Miloš Vojtěchovský

Born in Prague 1955, he graduated in Art History and Aesthetic at Charles University, 1980. Since the early 80's he's been involved in independent music, visual art, action art, and curatorial work. He is the initiator, researcher, co-producer and co-author of the interactive educational project Orbis Pictus Revised commisioned for ZKM Karlsruhe. Milos is founder of The Metamedia Center Project at the Plasy Monastery, initiator of The Hermit Foundation, and curator at The Collection of The Modern and Contemporary Art National Gallery Prague. From 2000 to 2004 he ran the broadcasting project Radio Jeleni, consequently co-founding Lemurie streaming project. He lectures in media art, contemporary art and communication studies at the Faculty of Fine Arts at the Technical University Brno, and co-organises the course Intermedia creativity and technologies between AMU, VŠUP, ČVUT and AVU in Prague. In addition he works for The Artmedialab which is related to the Center for Contemporary Art in Prague.
