Moritz Grünke (1980) is a visual artist with a focus on book works and a specialist in risography. In 2007 Grünke and Franziska Brandt founded Gloria Glitzer, an avatar, artists group and a publisher for artzines and book works. Until today Gloria Glitzer is the center of their artistic practice.

Grünke was part of the offspace dieschönestadt in Halle from 2008 until it’s closing in 2012. He also runs the blog artzines.net, a plattform dedicatited to publishing as (artistic) practice.

Since 2014 he co-organizes MISS READ: The Berlin Art Book Festival at Haus der Kulturen der Welt.

Among others, Grünke’s works have been shown at the MoMA PS1, New York; La Casa Encendida, Madrid; Hauser & Wirth, Somerset; Looiersgracht 60, Amsterdam; KV Leipzig, Leipzig; PrintRoom, Rotterdam; LOW Gallery, Riga. (2020)
