New Media Nation
The series of events organized by Buryzone in collaboration with Atrakt Art, Jan Koniarek Gallery, CEICA, Approaching Art Association and Olento between February 2002 and April 2003.
As a part of the series, between 20 and 22 February 2003 Festival of Festivals conference was organised. Speakers: Mária Rišková (Multiplace), Boris Kostadinov (Videoarcheology), Annet Dekker (Impakt), Peter Tomaž Dobrila (Kiblix), Piotr Krajewski (WRO International Media Art Biennale), Juraj Čarný (Space Gallery), Jana Semerádová (Designblok), Thomas Dumke (CYNETart), Juha Huuskonen and Petri Lievonen (Pixelache), Wilfried Agricola de Cologne (Violence Online Festival), Zden (Satori), Thomas Munz (Transmediale), Edward A. Marszewski (Select Media Festival), Gerfried Stocker (Ars Electronica), Trebor Scholz (Right2Fight). Moderators: Andreas Leo Findeisen, Denisa Kera, Michal Hvorecký. Topics: new media in reference to public art, interactive arts, new media and activism.
