Nisar Keshvani is an educator, journalist and new media specialist.

He served as Director of Leonardo Asia Pacific, an online peer review journal published under the auspices of MIT Press. From 2002-2009, he served as Editor-in-Chief of the Leonardo Electronic Almanac (leoalmanac.org) an international art, science and technology peer reviewed e-journal, and International Co-Editor of fineArt forum (www.fineartforum.org), one of the Internet's longest running arts publications, since 1999.

He sat on the boards of the fineArt forum Management Committee, the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) “Digi-Arts” project, Singapore SIGGRAPH Chapter, Leonardo/International Society of Arts, Science & Technology (ASTN) and the Multimedia Art Asia Pacific (MAAP) Festival.
