nyMusikk is Norway’s centre for experimental music and sound art. Founded in 1938 by Pauline Hall, nyMusikk has over 75 years experience in commissioning, producing, curating and presenting new music and sound-based work. Through live music, screenings, installations, readings and lectures we arrange events exploring sound and music’s relationship with other art forms such as performance, film, literature, dance and visual art. With a head office in Oslo, there is a network of eleven regional branches distributed around Norway, in Bergen, Bodø, Harstad, Innlandet, Kristiansand, Nordland, Stavanger, Tromsø, Trondheim, Vestfold and Østfold. (2019)

nyMusikk's artistic directors since 2004: Lars Petter Hagen (2004–2009), Øyvind Torvund (2009-2012), Anne Hilde Neset (2012-2017), Bjørnar Habbestad (since 2017).
