Ondřej Adámek, First Prize of Hungarian Radio, the Brandenburg Biennale price (2006) and the SACEM price. He composes orchestral, chamber, vocal and electro-acoustic music and he works with choreographers of contemporary dance. Recently, he wrote pieces for Percussionists de Strasbourg, Brandenburg Sinfoniker and the Lucerne Academy Orchestra (conducted by Pierre Boulez). His piece Nôise is performed by Ensemble Intercontemporain in Paris in February 2010. His actual projects are for Klangforum ensemble and Diotima string quartet. In his musical language he combines elements of contemporary classical music with transformed musical elements of distant cultures. The simplicity of musical expression corresponds in his works with a thoroughly elaborate colors of sounds.
