Paula Claire (b. 1939, Northampton, England) was an English sound, visual, and concrete poet. Claire was associated with the British Poetry Revival movement in the 1970s, and worked closely with Bob Cobbing, founder of Writers Forum. Together with Cobbing, she was a member of Konkrete Canticle, a sound poetry collective that performed works for multiple voices and instruments. She is founder and curator of the Paula Claire Archive: fromWORDtoART - International Poet-Artists, a collected body of work by fellow poet-artists. Claire also was a long-term friend and collaborator of Italian sound and visual poet Mirella Bentivoglio (1922-2017), who worked to expand the recognition of women in the international visual poetry movement.
