Paweł Kwiek

Paweł Kwiek (16 March 1951, Warsaw - 13 March 2022) was a Polish artist, photographer, cinematographer, light designer.

Graduated from the Cinematography Department of the Łódz Film School in 1974. Since 1970, he has been making experimental films, video art, photography and art activities involving other disciplines of art, culture and related sciences (philosophy, theater, poetry, sociology, etc.). Kwiek is one of the key figures of the Polish neo-avant-garde of the 1970s along with artists such as Józef Robakowski, Jan Świdziński, Zbigniew Dłubak, and Zofia Kulik.
