Sandra Fauconnier
Aka Fokky. Since 2000, she is (now part-time) media archivist at V2_, Institute for the Unstable Media in Rotterdam, where she designed a description model for electronic art activities, developed a thesaurus on media art, and worked on various research projects related to (among others) the preservation of electronic art, and alternative copyright models. Currently, she is also, until end 2007, researcher at the Jan van Eyck Academie in Maastricht, doing research project on the design of participatory web-based resources.
She has (the equivalent of) a BA in architecture at Sint-Lucas (currently WENK, Hogeschool Kunst en Wetenschappen) Ghent and an MA in art history (Kunstwetenschappen) at Ghent University. Worked as a researcher, content and interface designer at Ghent University's teacher training department.
Moved from Ghent to Antwerp in 2000, then to Rotterdam in 2004, where she currently lives.
