A festival for electronic arts in Basel The Shift festival is an international platform for the multifaceted and dynamic field of electronic arts.
Date and place The first edition of Shift is held Oct. 25th till Oct. 28th 2007 in the Dreispitz, a zone of urban development in the city of Basel. The festival is planned to be held annually in late fall.
Founded in November 2006, Shift is governed by an association comprised of four Basel organizations active in the fields of film, video, media art, and electronic music.
