Teacher of computer-aided art at the Faculty of Information Technology, Brno University of Technology (since 2005) and algorithmic art at the Theory of Interactive Media, Masaryk University (since 2014).

Graduated in computer science from the Faculty of Informatics, Masaryk University in Brno (M.Sc 1998, Ph.D 2003). Studied computational aesthetics, obtained doctoral fellowship from the University of Bristol Digital Media Group (2002).

Formerly a teacher of computer-aided art (1999–2006), 3D modeling (2002–2006) and digital photography (2003–2006) at the Faculty of Informatics. Co-founder of the Studio of Graphic Design & Multimedia (2002), editorial board member of IM6 magazine for electronic art and society (2004–2005). Teacher of new media and internet art at the Theory of Interactive Media department, Faculty of Arts (2008–2009) and coordinator of Multiplace festival for new media culture.

Co-founder of the non-profit cultural association Napříč.cz and member of its endowment board (since 2007). Founding member of Interier Association supporting students’ creative activities. Held four solo exhibitions and participated in almost twenty collective art shows, including Computer Graphics Re-Visited 2.0 (2018), Prototyp (2019, 2021) or Ars Electronica (2019). Curator of computer art exhibitions — Digiarcha (2015), 01100100 (2019), Encoded Aesthetics (2021).

Speaker at assorted art conferences, lately New Histories for New Media Art (2018) together with Barbara Büscher, Oliver Grau and Frieder Nake. Member of the International Association of Art (since 2006). Editorial board member of JOINME peer-reviewed journal on digital media culture theory & praxis (since 2017) with Denisa Kera, Barbara Büscher and Dušan Barok.
