A long-term initiative in the field of contemporary art and theory founded by Erste Bank Group in 2002. Tranzit focuses on the region of Central and Eastern Europe and in its initial phase operates primarily in the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Austria.

Coordination: Katrin Rhomberg and Mária Hlavajová.
Project direction: Vít Havránek (Czech Republic), Boris Ondreička (Slovakia), Georg Schöllhammer (Austria).
