Born 1950 in Stuttgart. Studied at the Freie Kunstschule, Stuttgart and at the School of Visual Arts, New York. During the late 1980s works with video sculptures. In 1991 founded the network The Thing, since then mainly Internet-related work. Lives in New York City.
