Yoana Buzova

Yoana Buzova (Йоана Бузова, 1987, BG) is an interdisciplinary artist and educator, passionate about public space and short-lived, neglected moments and objects. She works low-tech, do it yourself and with others and uses found and repurposed material to create temporary poetic moments. Yoana holds a BA in Photography at The National Academy for Theatre and Film Arts, Sofia, Bulgaria, and an MA in Media Design & Communication Department from the Piet Zwart Institute, Rotterdam (2014). She has been teaching in the Willem de Kooning Academy. She is a member of the Filmwerkplaats and of the The Tip Top Orchestra, first amateur avant-garde orchestra. Yoana is based in Rotterdam.
