Fridaymilk
Fridaymilk is an independent curatorial collective based above the Polar Circle that aims to develop culture and media in the North. United by the idea of Northern identity, the collective is promoting the concept of cultural decentralisation by shifting cultural centers «from capitals to remote areas».
The project team creates unique media content and organises events such as art conferences, panel discussions, international and public sector collaborations.
The questions about the life in the High North and the constant search for meaning and goals to stay and grow in this area are subject to an ongoing dialogue of artists, curators and young generation. Fridaymilk provides a platform for materialisation of new ideas and life stories, it is an expedition to search for answers to the key question about the High North: whether to «leave or live».
