PLATO is a municipal contemporary art gallery in Ostrava, founded in 2016. It operates in the city centre, in two locations less than 70 m apart. Its main exhibitions are held in the PLATO building, a reconstructed, heritage-listed municipal slaughterhouse from the late 19th century. The other space, PLATO Bauhaus, is a former hobby market with almost 5,000 m² of space used for educational and community programmes.
