The Department of Intermedia at the Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Bratislava was established in 2007 in a response to the demand for a study programme within which participants could systematically operate with new media. The interdisciplinary nature of the environment of several media (photo, video, computer animation, interactive installations, objects, performances, drawing, sculpture, etc..) offers a wide range of options and tools for creating procedures that reflect current topics and problems.
