'''Peter Sit''' is an artist, curator and organiser. He studied photography and intermedia in [[Bratislava]] and [[Prague]]. In his work, Peter Sit is concerned with collectivity and its potential in the current world order, the question of labor, and he is interested in the expanded field of activity of the artist across the spectrum of artistic production. In 2012 he co-founded the [[Apart]] collective and in this context founded the publishing house Apart Label, where he is co-editor of more than 20 publications. Since 2017, he is a member of the Czechoslovak Psychotronics. Peter Sit is an artist and curator. He is oscillating between Bratislava and New York City. He was co-founder of art collective and platform APART (2012-2022).

Together with Apart he has exhibited in Kunsthalle Bratislava, Karlín Studios in Prague, Easttopics in Budapest, Plusmínusnula in Zilina, Biennial of Graphic Design in Brno, CCA Chronicle in Bytom, MoMA in NYC. He received various grants, fellowships, awards and residencies (Salzburg Summer Academy, Art in General New York).
