The question we put to ourselves in the autumn of 2006 was a relatively simple one: What has happened in the twenty years since the fall of the "Iron Curtain" to us, to the artistic imagination, to society? How are we to relate today to the twenty-year period of transformation that we were, and still are, part of? [1]
- Monument to Transformation 1989-2009, research project, tranzitdisplay, Dittrichova 9, Prague, 2006-2011. Initiated by Zbyněk Baladrán and Vít Havránek. Cooperation/project manager: Věra Krejčová. Centred around permanent installation and an archive consisting of artworks, archival materials and books, recomposed throughout the research process; open to the public on a daily basis, and used for discussion platforms, lectures and meetings.
