Origin & Definition[edit]
- Coined by artist Kai (Kari) Altmann in 2023 to define part of her own approach to futurisms. Sensuous here refers to earthly textures and dimensions, as well as feelings of health, naturalness, vitality, pleasure, comfort and play. Kai also relates this to her other terms, Holistic Futurisms, Rasa Futurisms and Romantic Futurisms.
- Can be related to Solarpunk and other Ecofuturisms.
- Can be related to things like Communal Futurisms and Village Futurisms, or Global Village Futurisms.
