Research group initiated by Matteo Pasquinelli and Paolo Primi in Berlin in 2011 to investigate the notion of life across the fields of philosophy, politics, economy and art. Specifically, it aims to clarify and disambiguate the successful concepts of biopolitics and bioeconomy debated by numerous authors laying today a very ‘intellectual siege’ to the notion of bios.
