Born 1969. Musicologist focusing on electro-acoustic music, American and European avant-gardes, intermedia, performance, and sound art. He is co-director of the Electronic Music Studio at Technische Universit?t Berlin and currently a fellow at the Research Focus Media Convergence at Johannes Gutenberg-Universit?t Mainz. In addition, he is curatorial adviser to the contemporary music festival MaerzMusik, and has realized and performed indeterminate works by John Cage and himself.
