Lonneke van der Velden is a PhD candidate at the Amsterdam School for Cultural Analysis (ASCA). Her work focuses on strategies of resistance in contemporary surveillance networks and is informed by methodological criticisms that are associated with Actor Network Theory (ANT). She currently explores how to do internet studies with Digital Methods, with special attention to social networking platforms.
