Vincent W.J. van Gerven Oei (1983) is a philosopher, philologist, and artist. He teaches at the University of New York in Tirana, Albania and the Royal Academy of the Arts, The Hague, The Netherlands. Together with Jonas Staal he published Follow Us Or Die (New York/Dresden: Atropos Press, 2009). He is also contributing editor of the online journal continent. He has lectured and produced exhibitions, publications, and translations in South Africa, China, Japan, France, the Netherlands, and the USA.
