Gunnar Iversen is Professor of Film Studies at the Department of Art and Media Studies, NTNU, Trondheim. He wrote the books virkelighetsbilder (2001) with Sara Brinch and edited Nærbilder (1997), Blikkfang (2003), and 3-volume Estetiske teknologier 1700-2000 (2003-06).
