Norwegian Center for Technology in Music and the Arts [Norsk senter for teknologi i musikk og kunst] is a production centre for work with sound - in music, research, education and mediation. The most importanty function for NOTAM is services to the creative community in music, extending naturally into sound art and cross-media and interdisciplinary art expression. And with the common use of technology in the production of almost any music, NOTAM has reshaped itself into becoming a center for all genres of contemporary music.
Until 2008 the center operated under the name Norwegian Network for Technology, Acoustics and Music [Norsk nettverk for Teknologi, Akustikk og Musikk].
Established in 1992.
Based in Oslo.
Director: Notto J. W. Thelle (formerly Rune Molvær).
Artistic and research director: Jøran Rudi.
