Photography
Nicolae Ionescu (Born, 1903) works first as a typographist in Bucharest. In 1927 it employed in the Royal Army photographer and began to photograph in Bucharest but also in the country. Began to study German and English, in order to have direct access to the latest papers published in the photographic field. He married in 1928 his wife (Constanţa) and with her money, he buys modern equipment for photo lab. In 1930 goes to France and work several months in Lumiere factory (Lyon) and a few months in Paris at Pathe Nathan.

Awards
The works of Nicolae Ionescu won second place at the Exhibition of photographs from 1936 ONT bronze plaque International Photography Exhibition in Bordeaux in 1957.
Legacy
Fascinating Bucharest the years '20-'30, the memory of "Little Paris" is still kept alive by photographs of. His wife, after his death, will sell a large part of the artist's negatives and ultimately sell the entire collection of municipal Bookshop "Mihai Sadoveanu" and the Romanian Academy.
