Franziska Brandt (1978) is a visual artist. In 2007 Brand and Moritz Grünke founded Gloria Glitzer, an avatar, artists group and a publisher for artzines and book works. Until today Gloria Glitzer is the center of their artistic practice.
Brandt was part of the offspace dieschönestadt in Halle from 2008 until it’s closing in 2012.
Together with Moritz Grünke, Brandt runs the risography studio and exhibition space We Make It in Berlin, that was founded in 2012. We Make It also hosts the Herbarium Riso, a public reference library on risograph printed artists’ publications and ephemera.
Among others, Brandt’s works have been shown at the MoMA PS1, New York; La Casa Encendida, Madrid; Hauser & Wirth, Somerset; Looiersgracht 60, Amsterdam; KV Leipzig, Leipzig; PrintRoom, Rotterdam; LOW Gallery, Riga. (2020)
