Brett Ian Balogh is a Chicago-based artist making sculptural, aural and cartographic explorations of the electromagnetic landscape. Current inquiries revolve around the relationships between energy, materials and communications. Brett is an Associate Professor, Adj. in the Art and Technology / Sound Practices and Liberal Arts Departments at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. He teaches courses in physics, sound and electronic and biological communications.
