Menno Grootveld is a journalist, translator, and publisher with a background in pirate radio, television editing, and organising media conferences. He is a member of Democracy in Europe Movement 2025 (DiEM25) The Netherlands. [1]
Grootveld ran the pirate TV station Rabotnik TV in the early 1980s, which later became one of the first legal local broadcasters in Amsterdam.
He was one of the founders of the Next 5 Minutes. He worked as a programmer for the Lost & Found project in Waag Society, and as editor of the Dutch TV programmes W.E.B. and W.E.B. Wereldontvanger. [2]
