textz.com is a warez database for texts. Its first iteration was run by Sebastian Lütgert/ROLUX from 2001 with the slogan »we are the & in copy & paste«. The website has been relaunched on 22 March 2020.
In the earlier version, one could find text with and without copyright, fictional and theoretical texts, manifestos, articles and song lyrics. Texts by Theodor W. Adorno side by side with texts by the autonome a.f.r.i.k.a.-Gruppe, Douglas Adams appeared next to Klaus Theweleit and Kathy Acker. The texts originated from various sources.
