Magdaléna Kobzová (1981, Trenčín, Slovakia) studied philosophy and English and American studies at the Masaryk University in Brno Masaryk University Brno. She co-organised two editions of the Summer Open Academy, workshop-based event exploring collaboration and experimentation between artistic, technical, media and humanistic fields (2006, 2007), followed by the series of summer events Letní dílny in the Czech Republic organised by the Yo-Yo initiative. Magdaléna was involved in the coordination of the Multiplace network cultural festival and works with 3/4 magazine and A4 - Zero Space in Bratislava. She holds a PhD from the FAMU Prague (2008-2013) with a thesis on tactical media.
