Jens Brand (1968, Dortmund) studied visual arts in Münster, Germany and lives and works as an artist in Berlin. His interest in experimental music art got triggered and influenced by encounters with the work and person of Phill Niblock and numerous performances he had the chance witness at the Het Apollohuis, NL that was run by Helene and Paul Panhuysen in the early 1990s.
