Eduard Isaac Asser (19 October 1809 - September 21, 1894) is a Dutch photographer, pioneer of photography in the Netherlands. If tried first daguerreotype, he then focused on the negative paper, and from 1857, he developed a photolithography process that can quickly produce pictures so cheap. This "Asser process", for which he received a patent, brought him great fame.
