Anette Vandsø (1973) is a post doc fellow at the Department of Aesthetics and Communication at Aarhus University. She completed her PhD in 2010 with a dissertation titled Music and Enunciation, and in 2012 she received an elite postdoc grant from the Danish Council for Independent Research for the project "Listening to the world", which investigates contemporary sound art, in particular its medial aspects. Vandsø teaches courses in aesthetic and cultural theory, with a focus on (inter)mediality, contemporary experimental music and sound art. Vandsø writes about contemporary music and sound art for several Danish journals, such as Peripeti, Seismograf and Geiger. [1]
